Preparing for our Spring Planting

Today, we made major progress in getting the ground ready to receive our spring plantings. I am giddy with delight.  The titling was done ...

Notice the green row behind the steak, that is left over from last fall.  We attempted, but failed, to plant collards, broccoli, and some lettuce. Well, the rabbit got through the fencing... ugh.  Anyway, needless to say we were delighted to see a few of the collard plants hanging on.  We are going to leave them to see if we can get a harvest.

Here's what we are getting ready to plant, probably on Monday, plus we have a few things we will plant from seed. Stay tuned!

  1. Good Luck with your gardening! My husband has tried a garden the past few years and we really haven't done very well. It normally ends up over taken by weeds. We decided we would give it one more try this year since the past 2 years I was either pregnant or dealing with a newborn. Hopefully this year will be good for both of us ;)
